There is so much in this world to learn, and if there is one thing I know for certain, it's that the best way to learn is to do. I love learning! Not big on doing things that don't interest me, though.

For this reason, I'm going to start approaching everything I do as an opportunity. I think there are opportunities to learn in everything we do, and imma find em.

I think this will be especially useful in motivating myself to do work (mostly coursework) that I really don't want to do. Rather than approach a Writing 2150 assignment as "a six-page comparative essay on the readings," I want to approach it as an opportunity to explore the thought processes of the authors we're studying and why they make the claims that they do.

Asking "why" about things we normally don't give much thought to is incredibly interesting to me. Luckily, it's pretty easy question to ask, and one that I already ask quite often. Now it's time I start seeking the answers.

Update 08/17/2018 - This ^ is much easier said than done.
